Greatest Hits Live
Greatest Hits Live is the third live album by the Ramones, a punk band whose studio run stretched from their self-titled debut in 1976 to ¡Adios Amigos! in 1995. It came out on 18 June 1996, a year after that final studio record, and it gathers live versions of their songs on a single disc.
For anyone who loves the band's studio records, it offers a different way in: the same short, sharp punk numbers, played on stage. It sits late in the Ramones' story, a live look back across a catalogue that began with Ramones and ran through Rocket to Russia, End of the Century and beyond.
