¡Adios Amigos!
¡Adios Amigos! is the fourteenth and last studio album by the Ramones, the New York punk band who had begun their run with their self-titled debut in 1976. The title is Spanish for "Goodbye Friends", and it did turn out to be a farewell. It came out on Radioactive Records on 18 July 1995, following Acid Eaters from 1993, and the band split a year after its release and the tour that went with it.
For anyone who has followed the band through the 1980s and early 1990s, this is the closing chapter of a catalogue spanning nearly two decades and fourteen studio albums. It's a punk rock record from a group that stuck to its guns to the end, and it's worth hearing as the final entry in one of the most consistent discographies in the genre.
