Best of the Chrysalis Years
Best of the Chrysalis Years is a compilation drawing on the Ramones' final run of records for Chrysalis. It collects tracks from Brain Drain, Mondo Bizarro, Acid Eaters and ¡Adios Amigos!, along with the live album Loco Live. It came out on 28 May 2002 through EMI Gold.
The set covers the band's last chapter, well away from the 1970s records that tend to dominate their story. It suits anyone who stopped following the Ramones after the early albums and wants a compact way into the later years. The collection was reissued in 2004 with a new track listing under the title The Best of The Ramones. Its original release came nine days before Dee Dee Ramone's death.
