Hollyweird
Hollyweird is the sixth studio album by the American glam metal band Poison, released on 21 May 2002 through Cyanide Records. It arrived two years after Crack a Smile... and More! and sits in the band's catalogue after their run of late-80s and early-90s records, from Look What the Cat Dragged In through to Native Tongue.
The record opened modestly, debuting at No. 103 on the Billboard 200 and No. 8 on the Independent Albums chart, with 11,000 copies sold in its first week. Its real significance for fans is what comes after it: this is the last Poison album of original material, as the follow-up, Poison'd! in 2007, was made up entirely of covers. If you want to hear where the band's own songwriting ended up, this is the place to listen.
