Swallow This: Live
Swallow This Live is Poison's first live album, released on 12 November 1991 through Capitol Records. It arrived after the band's three studio records of the late 1980s and early 1990s, Look What the Cat Dragged In, Open Up and Say… Ahh! and Flesh & Blood, and it came before Native Tongue in 1993. That makes it a snapshot of the American glam metal band at the end of their first run.
The record reached No. 51 on the Billboard 200 and No. 42 on the Cash Box albums chart, and the RIAA certified it Gold in 2001. For anyone who knows Poison mainly from the studio albums, it is a way to hear the hard rock and glam metal sound in a concert setting.
