Clandestine
Clandestine is the second album by Swedish death metal band Entombed, released on 12 November 1991 through Earache Records in Europe. Its North American release followed on 11 February 1992, via Relativity Records. It arrived a year after Left Hand Path, and together the two records helped establish a distinctly Swedish sound within death metal.
It is also the one Entombed album without original vocalist L.G. Petrov, who had been fired over personal disputes. The Crawl EP was recorded with Orvar Säfström, but he left before the album sessions, so "Crawl" was cut again for this record. Drummer Nicke Andersson took over the vocals, and Johnny Dordevic, previously of Carnage, joined for the tour that followed. That makes it a record of a band reshuffling mid-stride, and well worth hearing for that reason alone.
