Uprising
Uprising is the sixth studio album by Swedish band Entombed, released in March 2000 on Music for Nations. It was recorded at Das Boot Studios and produced by Nico Elgstrand together with the band themselves.
It arrives straight after Same Difference, where Entombed leaned towards a more commercial, alternative metal sound. Here they turn back to something heavier and more direct, closer to the death 'n' roll of Wolverine Blues. If you liked the band's swaggering, rock-tinged take on death metal and felt the previous record wandered off from it, this is the one that brings them home. It also sits just before Morning Star in their catalogue.
