Live at the Fillmore
Live at the Fillmore is a live album from the American thrash metal band Testament, released in July 1995. The first fourteen tracks are concert recordings, while the closing three step away from full volume with semi-acoustic versions of songs the band had already put out.
It arrived between the studio albums Low (1994) and Demonic (1997), so it catches the band at a point of change in their long run. For anyone who knows Testament mainly through their studio work, it offers a look at how the songs come across on stage. The acoustic-leaning finish gives the record a different shape from the usual live set, letting familiar material be heard in a quieter, more stripped-back light.
