EP
Ratt
Ratt's self-titled debut EP is where the American glam metal band first put its name on record. It was released on 23 August 1983 and came out independently on the band's own Time Coast label, with the Music for Nations imprint also listed as a label for the record.
It arrived a year before Out of the Cellar, the first of the band's studio albums, so it captures Ratt at the start of the story, working on their own terms before the run of albums that followed. If you like your heavy metal and hard rock with a glam streak, it's a good place to hear where the group began.
