Album
Bark at the Moon
Bark at the Moon is Ozzy Osbourne's third studio album, following Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman, and it came out on 14 November 1983. It marks a turning point in his solo story: it's the first record to feature guitarist Jake E. Lee, and the only studio album to feature drummer Tommy Aldridge, so the sound here comes from a very different pairing of players than on the earlier records.
It did well for him, too. The album reached number 19 on the Billboard chart and was certified gold in the United States within weeks, going on to pass three million copies there by 2000. In the UK it earned a silver certification in January 1984. If you want to hear Osbourne's heavy metal and hard rock with a fresh guitarist at his side, this is the place to start.
