Speak of the Devil
Speak of the Devil is a live double album from Ozzy Osbourne, released in November 1982 on Jet Records. It is made up entirely of Black Sabbath songs, the band he had fronted before going solo. In the UK it appeared as Talk of the Devil, since that is the more familiar way of saying it there.
It arrived after his first two solo studio albums, Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman, and before Bark at the Moon. Rather than showcase his new material, it turns back to the songs that first made his name, sung in concert by the man who originally sang them. That makes it a handy snapshot of how he handled the Sabbath catalogue as a solo artist. It reached Silver certification in the UK in January 1983, one of four Osbourne albums to do so there.
