Live at Eindhoven ’87
Live at Eindhoven '87 is a concert recording by the American thrash metal band Testament, issued through Megaforce Records in 2009. It is a remastered version of Live at Eindhoven, an EP first released in Europe in 1987 and in the US in 1990. The performance was captured at the Dynamo Open Air Festival in Eindhoven, in the Netherlands, on 8 June 1987.
That date places it in the band's earliest days, the same year their debut studio album, The Legacy, appeared. For anyone curious about how Testament sounded on a festival stage at the very start of their career, before The New Order followed in 1988, this is a useful snapshot of a young thrash band in front of a big European crowd.
