Cold World
Cold World is the third EP from Godflesh, the English industrial metal band. Earache Records released it on 5 November 1991. It was recorded and mixed that September during the sessions for their next album, Pure, which followed in 1992, so it gives a glimpse of the band at work between Streetcleaner and that record.
The original EP was later discontinued. In 1996 Earache brought it back on a single disc alongside the "Slateman" single, as the compilation Slateman/Cold World. In August 2009 that pairing was reissued again in a triple-CD set with the EP Slavestate and Pure, which makes it easy for newcomers to hear all of this period together.
