Songs of Love and Hate is the fourth studio album by Godflesh, the English industrial metal band. It came out on 20 August 1996 on Earache Records, following Streetcleaner, Pure and Selfless, and ahead of Us and Them in 1999. The cover photograph shows Cancer Alley in Louisiana.

What sets it apart in the band's catalogue is the drumming. Bryan Mantia plays live drums here, a first for Godflesh, and the record leans into heavy metal while taking on a stronger hip-hop influence. The industrial and mechanical edges of the earlier albums are toned down as a result. A dub-inspired remix album, Love and Hate in Dub, followed in 1997, and Earache reissued both records in 2009. It is a good place to hear the band shift its approach.
