Works is a Pink Floyd compilation released by Capitol Records on 18 June 1983. It pulls together tracks from across the band's career rather than following a single album's story, which makes it a handy way to see how their sound changed from one era to the next.

The collection opens up the earliest chapter with two singles, "Arnold Layne" and "See Emily Play", both from their psychedelic beginnings. It also includes alternative mixes of tracks from The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), which will interest anyone who knows the original well, and "Embryo", a studio outtake. It came out in the same year as The Final Cut, the band's tenth studio album, and it suits listeners who like a few rarities alongside the better-known songs.
