Free All Angels is the third studio album from Northern Irish band Ash, released on 23 April 2001. It followed the mixed reception given to Nu-Clear Sounds, which left frontman Tim Wheeler low and depressed. He retreated to his parents' house in Northern Ireland to write the new songs. The band co-produced the record with Owen Morris, working in Spain at Puerto Banús before moving on to The Wool Hall in Beckington and RAK Studios in London.

The sound sits in pop-punk and power-pop territory, with nods to Hüsker Dü and the Replacements, and critics often singled out Wheeler's guitar playing. It went to number one in the UK and went platinum there. Six singles came from it, including "Shining Light", which won an Ivor Novello Award, and "Burn Baby Burn", named NME Single of the Year. Q also placed it among the best releases of 2001.
