Lost Highway is Bon Jovi's tenth studio album, released on 8 June 2007, and it follows Have a Nice Day from 2005. It was recorded in Nashville and Hollywood, with John Shanks and Dann Huff producing. The band's country leanings had been stirred up by a country version of "Who Says You Can't Go Home", a duet with Jennifer Nettles that topped the US country chart in May 2006. This record takes that spark and runs with it.

Jon Bon Jovi was clear that it isn't a country album, but a Bon Jovi record influenced by Nashville. You hear it in the guest spots: Big & Rich join in on "We Got It Going On", and LeAnn Rimes sings on the single "Till We Ain't Strangers Anymore". It became the band's first album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2008 ceremony. Worth hearing for the way familiar big-chorus rock meets Nashville colour.
