Album
Stalingrad
Stalingrad is the 13th studio album by German heavy metal band Accept, released on 6 April 2012. Subtitled Brothers in Death, it was produced by Andy Sneap, who had also worked on its predecessor, Blood of the Nations (2010). Nuclear Blast Records, the independent German label, handled the release.
It is the second record Accept made after their 2009 reunion, so it carries on the work begun on Blood of the Nations rather than starting over. The same producer is behind the desk, and the band stay rooted in traditional heavy metal while also touching on power, speed and thrash. For anyone who loved the band's 1980s run, from Restless and Wild to Metal Heart, it is a good place to hear how the reunited group followed up their comeback. Blind Rage came next, in 2014.
