Superjudge
Superjudge is the second album by the American rock band Monster Magnet, released on 6 April 1993 on A&M Records. It sits in the stoner rock and hard rock camp, and it arrived two years after their debut, Spine of God, which came out in 1991.
The record marks a change in the band's line-up. It is the first Monster Magnet album to feature lead guitarist Ed Mundell, who took over in 1992 from founding member John McBain. Two tracks, "Twin Earth" and "Face Down", were issued as singles with music videos, so they are a sensible place to start. For anyone tracing the band's path towards Dopes to Infinity in 1995, this is the album where the new guitar partnership first appears.
