4-Way Diablo

4-Way Diablo is Monster Magnet's seventh studio album, released on 6 November 2007 through Steamhammer. It sits between Monolithic Baby! and Mastermind, and it was made across 2006 and 2007, after frontman Dave Wyndorf overdosed on anxiolytics in February 2006. It is also the first Monster Magnet album since Dopes to Infinity not to feature guitarist Phil Caivano.

Musically it sits in hard rock and stoner rock territory, with a nod to the band's psychedelic roots in a cover of The Rolling Stones' "2000 Light Years from Home". "No Vacation" is a re-recording of "Atom Age Vampire", a song from Wyndorf's 1988 demo collection Love Monster. Wyndorf did not write these songs for the stage and thought them too delicate for live work, so none made the concert sets. That makes the record something to hear at home.
