Mindfucker

Mindfucker is the tenth studio album by American rock band Monster Magnet, released on 23 March 2018 through Napalm Records. It follows Last Patrol and the two reworked records that came after it, Milking the Stars and Cobras and Fire, and it sits just ahead of A Better Dystopia in the band's discography.

Frontman Dave Wyndorf described the band's recent albums as long-form psych records with a decidedly melancholy mood, and here he chose to steer back towards a more rock-oriented sound. That change of direction is the reason to seek it out if the slower, spacier records left you wanting something punchier. Two singles were taken from it: the title track, and "Ejection", a cover of a Robert Calvert song that gives the album an interesting nod beyond the band's own writing.
