25… Tab

25… Tab is the second EP from American rock band Monster Magnet, released in 1991 through Glitterhouse Records. It was recorded before their debut album, Spine of God, and first appeared only in Europe. North American listeners had to wait until after Superjudge, the band's 1993 album, became a minor hit.

It is generally seen as the most psychedelic thing Monster Magnet put out. The first two tracks alone run to almost 45 minutes, so this is a record built for stretching out and drifting rather than for quick hooks. If you know the band mainly through their later, tighter rock records, this early blast of space rock and stoner rock shows where they started.
