Live in the U.K.
Live in the U.K. is Helloween's first live album, released in April 1989. It was issued in Japan as Keepers Live, while in the United States it appeared as I Want Out – Live, minus "Rise and Fall" and with a shorter edit of the introduction. Most of it was captured at Edinburgh Playhouse on 6 November 1988, with "I Want Out" taken from Manchester Apollo the following night.
It arrived between the two Keeper of the Seven Keys albums and Pink Bubbles Go Ape, so it preserves the German power metal band at a particular moment. It is their only official live album with drummer Ingo Schwichtenberg, and the only one featuring vocalist Michael Kiske alongside guitarist Kai Hansen, who had left a few months earlier, until United Alive in Madrid in 2019. For anyone who loves the Keeper era, that makes it a valuable document.
