Album
7 Sinners
7 Sinners is the thirteenth studio album by German power metal band Helloween, released in October 2010 on Dragnet. It follows Gambling With the Devil from 2007 and comes before Straight Out of Hell in 2013. A video clip for "Are You Metal?" appeared on 31 October 2010, and the full album was streamed on Myspace a week ahead of the physical release.
What makes it interesting is how it was put together. For the first time since The Dark Ride in 2000, every song is a solo composition, with each member writing both music and lyrics for his own track. Bassist Markus Grosskopf calls it his "natural born album", saying the band wanted something properly heavy after Unarmed. They built the record around its first two tracks, "Are You Metal?" and "Where the Sinners Go", and gave the whole thing a heavy sound.
