National Treasures: The Complete Singles
National Treasures: The Complete Singles is a compilation from the Welsh alternative rock band Manic Street Preachers. It was their third compilation, following the greatest hits collection Forever Delayed in 2002 and the B-sides and rarities set Lipstick Traces (A Secret History of Manic Street Preachers) in 2003. It came out through Columbia Records and Sony Music in October 2011.
Where the earlier collections picked and chose, this one gathers the band's singles in full, which makes it a handy way to follow their run from the early 1990s onwards. There is one new recording, a cover of The The's "This Is the Day", which was released as a single in September 2011. The album reached number 10 on the UK Album Chart that November.
