Album
Send Away the Tigers
Send Away the Tigers is the eighth studio album by Manic Street Preachers, the Welsh alternative rock band. It came out on 7 May 2007 through Columbia Records, and it climbed to number two on the UK Albums Chart.
It follows Lifeblood from 2004 and comes just before Journal for Plague Lovers in 2009, so it sits in the middle of the band's long run of studio records, which began with Generation Terrorists in 1992. For anyone tracing the Manics' story beyond The Holy Bible and Everything Must Go, it is a strong place to pick up the thread, and its high UK chart placing shows how many listeners were still with them.
