Manic Street Preachers Stars and Stripes 1992
Stars and Stripes is an EP by Manic Street Preachers, issued through Epic Records in August 1992. It sits right at the start of the band's recorded story, arriving in the same year as their debut album, Generation Terrorists, which opened a run of studio records stretching all the way to Critical Thinking in 2025.
Filed under indie rock and rock, it is a small release rather than a major statement, but it catches the Welsh band in their earliest days on a major label. For anyone tracing how the Manics got from that first album to The Holy Bible and Everything Must Go, it makes a useful early marker.
