New Art Riot E.P. is a Manic Street Preachers EP from Damaged Goods, and it was the first record to feature the band as a four-piece: James Dean Bradfield, Nicky Wire, Richey Edwards and Sean Moore. It came out in June 1990, some two years before their debut album, Generation Terrorists.

The songs are short, fast hard rock, shaped by the band's love of The Clash. It's a compact, raw statement of intent, and it laid down the musical template the Welsh band would build on in the years that followed. Worth hearing for anyone who wants to catch them right at the start.
