"Anthem for a Lost Cause" is an EP from Welsh alternative rock band Manic Street Preachers, released on Columbia in November 2013. The title track is the second single from Rewind the Film, the band's eleventh studio album.
It arrived at an interesting point in the Manics' story, partway through a run that began with Generation Terrorists in 1992 and carried on into Futurology the following year. For anyone who knows the band mainly through their 1990s records, it is a handy way into their later, more reflective alternative rock.
