Danzig II: Lucifuge is the second studio album by the American heavy metal band Danzig. It came out on 26 June 1990 through Def American Recordings, following their self-titled debut of 1988. Its genre tags run across blues rock, heavy metal and alternative metal, which gives a fair idea of how the band sat between the darker end of metal and a rootsier rock foundation.

Lucifuge is the middle step between the debut and the 1992 follow-up, How the Gods Kill, so it is a useful record for hearing how the band's sound developed in those early years. It was reissued in the US and the UK in 1998 by American Recordings, the successor to Def American, which kept it available to later listeners. If you want to trace the band's story from the start, this is the second chapter.
