Album
Objection Overruled
Objection Overruled is the ninth studio album by the German heavy metal band Accept, released on 1 February 1993 through RCA. It was recorded at Dierks-Studios in Stommeln, following pre-production at Roxx Studios, and it sits firmly in the traditional heavy metal style the band built its name on.
The record matters mainly for who is singing on it. Udo Dirkschneider returns on lead vocals for the first time since Russian Roulette in 1986, so it closes a gap that stretched across the band's previous album, Eat the Heat, from 1989. If you followed Accept through the early 1980s and wondered what the band sounded like with its original voice back at the front, this is the place to find out. Death Row followed in 1994.
