Archives & Artifacts is a compilation from the American thrash band Death Angel, released on 1 February 2005 through Restless Records. It is built as a box set: remastered editions of their first two albums, The Ultra-Violence and Frolic Through the Park, a bonus CD of rarities, and a DVD with video recordings of the band plus a music video.
It arrived the year after The Art of Dying, and it gathers the early work that came before the band's later studio run. The first pressing had a mix-up with the tracklistings. The bonus tracks meant for Frolic Through the Park landed on The Ultra-Violence disc, three rarities turned up on Frolic instead, and the Kill as One demo songs were left off entirely. Rykodisc fixed this on the second pressing, so that is the copy to hunt for.
