Act III
Act III is the third studio album by thrash metal band Death Angel, released on 10 April 1990 through Geffen. It followed The Ultra-Violence (1987) and Frolic Through the Park (1988), and it remains their only record for the label.
It also marks the end of a chapter. This was the last studio album to feature guitarist Gus Pepa, and it was the band's final studio recording before a hiatus that ran from 1991 to 2001. The next album, The Art of Dying, did not arrive until 2004. For anyone tracing Death Angel's story, Act III is the closing point of their original run, and a natural place to listen if you want to hear where that first period of the band ended up.
