Infestissumam
Infestissumam is the second studio album by the Swedish band Ghost, released on 10 April 2013. The title is an archaic spelling of a Latin superlative meaning "most hostile", a nod to the Antichrist. It followed their debut, Opus Eponymous, from 2010, and was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, with Nick Raskulinecz producing.
It marked the band's major label debut, arriving in North America on 16 April through Loma Vista Recordings in partnership with Republic Records. The album was generally well received, with several music publications placing it among the best heavy metal albums of the year, and it won the 2014 Grammis Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Album. Its sound draws on hard rock, traditional heavy metal, and progressive and psychedelic rock. A special edition, Infestissumam Redux, followed in late 2013.
