The Evil Divide
The Evil Divide is the eighth studio album by Death Angel, the American thrash metal band. It came out on 27 May 2016 through Nuclear Blast, and sits between The Dream Calls for Blood (2013) and Humanicide (2019).
It carries a few markers of stability for the group. This was the first time since Act III in 1990 that the band went through three consecutive studio albums without a change of personnel. It was also their third record with producer Jason Suecof, a working relationship that had built up over their recent releases. For anyone following Death Angel's story from The Ultra-Violence onwards, it shows a band settled in its line-up and firmly rooted in thrash.
