Worship Music
Worship Music is the tenth studio album by Anthrax, released internationally on 12 September 2011 through Nuclear Blast. It was their first collection of new material since We've Come for You All in 2003, and the first full-length record to feature Joey Belladonna on vocals since his return to the band. It was also the last Anthrax album with guitarist Rob Caggiano, who left in January 2013.
The road to the finished record was a long one. Work began as early as November 2008, then stalled when vocalist Dan Nelson departed and John Bush briefly rejoined before deciding not to commit. With Belladonna back, recording wrapped in April 2011. Critics welcomed it as a return to form, and it debuted at number 12 in the United States, the band's best chart placing since Sound of White Noise in 1993.
