Music of Mass Destruction

Released20 April 2004
Popularity10.6

Music of Mass Destruction is Anthrax's second full-length live album, released on 20 April 2004 through Nuclear Blast. It was issued as a package of one CD and one DVD, so listeners could both hear and watch the band in concert. The recordings come from two nights, 5 and 6 December 2003, at the Metro in Chicago.

It arrived just after We've Come for You All, the studio album from 2003, and in the same year as The Greater of Two Evils. That places it in a busy stretch for the band. The sleeve was painted by the comic artist Alex Ross, a nice extra for anyone who likes their thrash metal with striking artwork.
