The Sea of Memories
The Sea of Memories is the fifth studio album by Bush, the English alternative rock band, released on 13 September 2011 through Zuma Rock Records, eOne Music and earMUSIC. It arrived ten years after Golden State, which had been the band's last studio record in 2001. The title comes from a line in "Baby Come Home", and the cover art is by Los Angeles–based street artist RETNA.
It is a record of fresh starts for the group. It is the first Bush album to feature Chris Traynor on lead guitar and Corey Britz on bass, and the first released away from Interscope and Atlantic, who had handled everything before it. For anyone who knew the band from the 1990s, it is the sound of them picking up again after a long gap, and it sets the stage for the run of albums that followed, beginning with Man on the Run in 2014.
