Golden State is the fourth studio album by English rock band Bush, released on 23 October 2001 on Atlantic. It arrived after the raw, Steve Albini-produced Razorblade Suitcase and the electro-tinged hard rock of The Science of Things, and Stephen Thomas Erlewine heard it as a return to the sound of their 1994 debut, Sixteen Stone. The UK release followed on 29 October.

The title comes from the Golden State Freeway, the road Gavin Rossdale used to take home. The record is dedicated to Ian Lowery, founder of Folk Devils. It is also the last Bush album with guitarist Nigel Pulsford and bassist Dave Parsons, and the band's final studio release for ten years, until The Sea of Memories in 2011. For anyone who loved the early Bush sound, it makes a fitting close to that chapter.
