The Nothing is Korn's thirteenth studio album, released on 13 September 2019 through Roadrunner and Elektra. Nick Raskulinecz produced it, and it sits between The Serenity of Suffering from 2016 and Requiem, which followed in 2022.

For anyone who has followed the American nu metal band since their self-titled debut in 1994, it's a record that shows how long they have kept going. The band's work is rooted in nu metal and alternative metal, and this album continues in that vein with a producer who knew his way around heavy rock. It's worth hearing as a snapshot of Korn well into their third decade, still releasing new material and still sounding like themselves.
