Album
The Plague Within
The Plague Within is the fourteenth studio album by Paradise Lost, the British gothic metal band. It came out on 1 June 2015, following Tragic Idol in 2012 and ahead of Medusa in 2017.
Here the band head back towards the death-doom sound of their early days, the territory of records like Lost Paradise and Gothic, while keeping the gothic metal elements they are best known for. If you've followed them from the early 1990s, it's a chance to hear both sides of their story in one place, with the heaviness of the old days meeting the more melodic, gloomy style that came later.
