Believe in Nothing
Believe in Nothing is the eighth studio album by Paradise Lost, the British gothic metal band. It came out in February 2001 on EMI, and its genres are listed as alternative metal and gothic rock.
The record arrived between Host (1999) and Symbol of Life (2002), which places it at the turn of the millennium in a catalogue that stretches from Lost Paradise in 1990 to Ascension in 2025. For anyone tracing how the band moved through the years after Draconian Times and One Second, it is the next step along that path, and it is worth hearing for the alternative metal and gothic rock leanings that sit at its centre.
