Survive
Survive is the second studio album by American thrash metal band Nuclear Assault, following their 1986 debut Game Over. It came out on 13 June 1988 through I.R.S. Records, and was issued on vinyl, compact disc and cassette.
This is the record that took the band into the thrash metal mainstream. The single "Brainwashed" drove it along, and it became their first album to enter the Billboard 200, reaching number 145. There's also a cover of "Good Times Bad Times", which Led Zeppelin first recorded in 1968, a nice way to hear thrash players tackle a classic rock tune. The album is regarded as an essential release in the genre, and it's a good place to start with the band before Handle With Care followed in 1989.
