Uncertain Times
Uncertain Times is an EP from King Crimson, released on 13 June 2018 on the Discipline Global Mobile label. It arrived long after the band's last studio album, The Power to Believe in 2003, and sits well down the road from the run that began with In the Court of the Crimson King in 1969 and took in Red, the 1980s trio of Discipline, Beat and Three of a Perfect Pair, and the later THRAK and The ConstruKction of Light.
As a short release, it works as a way into the band's later chapter rather than a full statement, and it will suit anyone curious about what King Crimson were doing in the late 2010s. Fans who know the studio albums well will find it a useful addition to the story, filling in the years after The Power to Believe.
