Live in Toronto
Live in Toronto is a King Crimson concert album, released on 29 February 2016 by Discipline Global Mobile. It was recorded on 20 November 2015 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto, during the band's Elements of King Crimson tour.
For the band's story, it is a snapshot of the seven-piece line-up that had taken shape in their later years, and only its second full-length release. The set also includes new compositions that had not appeared on a Crimson record before, so it works as a first look at fresh material as well as a document of the live show. For anyone who knows the studio catalogue from In the Court of the Crimson King through to The Power to Believe, it's a chance to hear where the band's progressive rock went next, played in front of an audience.
