Distant Memories: Live in London
Distant Memories: Live in London is Dream Theater's ninth live album and video release, put out by Inside Out Music on 27 November 2020. It was recorded over two nights, 21 and 22 February 2020, at the Hammersmith Apollo, towards the end of the tour for Distance Over Time. It came out on CD, DVD, Blu-ray and vinyl, in various combinations.
The set is split in two. The first half draws mostly on the then-current Distance Over Time, while the second plays Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory in full to mark its 20th anniversary. The band had already done this once on 2001's Live Scenes from New York, so this is a second complete performance of that record. It is also the last of their live albums to feature drummer Mike Mangini, setting aside the Lost Not Forgotten Archives releases.
