Album
Winger
Winger's self-titled debut came out in 1988 on Atlantic Records, with Beau Hill producing. It is a hard rock record from an American band who would go on to make seven studio albums, and it is where that whole run begins.
The follow-up, In the Heart of the Young, arrived in 1990, so this first album stands as the band's opening statement before the rest of their catalogue took shape. If you want to know where Winger started, or you like your late-eighties hard rock with a polished Atlantic-era production, this is the place to begin before moving on to Pull in 1993 and the later comeback records.
