Picture of Perfect Youth
Picture of Perfect Youth is a compilation of Feeder's B-sides, gathering roughly half of those the band had put out by 2004. It came out on CD and vinyl in a limited run, with little fanfare. The only single represented is "Just a Day", from 2001.
For fans, the draw is in the covers. Feeder tackle The Police's "Can't Stand Losing You" and Frankie Goes to Hollywood's "The Power of Love", the latter first heard on the NME/War Child 1 Love collection of covers of former UK number 1 singles. The CD sold out, the vinyl followed in late 2005, and the album was reissued in March 2007, reaching number 65 on the UK albums chart and number 3 on the UK Indie Chart. It sits as a side-door companion to the studio records, best suited to listeners who already know Echo Park and Comfort in Sound.
