Seven
Seven is the seventh studio album by American rock band Winger, released on 5 May 2023 through Frontiers Music Srl. It sits at the end of a run that began with their self-titled debut in 1988 and took in In the Heart of the Young, Pull, IV, Karma and Better Days Comin', and it is also their final studio record. The sound stays rooted in hard rock with a traditional heavy metal edge.
The big talking point for long-time fans is the return of guitarist and keyboardist Paul Taylor, who had not been in the band since In the Heart of the Young in 1990. "Proud Desperado" led the way as the first single, and Winger took the album on the road with UK dates in May and US shows in June 2023. If you grew up with their early records, it is a fitting place to catch up with them.
