Album
In Times New Roman…
In Times New Roman… is the eighth studio album by Queens of the Stone Age, an American rock band working in the alternative and stoner rock tradition. It came out on 16 June 2023 on Matador, six years after Villains. The band announced it on 9 May 2023 with a video teaser, and the lead single "Emotion Sickness" arrived the same day.
For anyone following the band's story, this is the closing chapter of a trilogy. It follows …Like Clockwork (2013) and Villains (2017), the earlier two records released through Matador, and so rounds off a run that began a decade before. It's a natural place to land if you've been tracing the band's later years, and "Emotion Sickness" makes a good first listen.
